I've known this incredibly talented Oakland, California- based illustrator and designer since I was in high school. When she was living in New York City, she met Tim Burton and asked him to sign her sketch book, and he said he liked her drawings! How about THAT?

Musicians
Formerly known as Macaque, this band is comprised of Kelly Evers Jackson on vocals and Christine Hart on vocals and keyboard. If you scroll down you'll see a banner that reads "Goddamned New York Electronica Band." I coined that phrase as a bad joke, but they liked it so much they used it as a banner! Also if you scroll down, you'll see pictures I took of the band when they performed in Chicago, credited to me.

If you want evidence of how cool this woman is, when we were in high school she often wore a Menard's t-shirt to school. (You might not get the Menard's reference if you're not from Chicago :P) If you want more evidence, visit her blog because, as she puts it, "I'm just really hilarious and I want the world to know." And, believe me, the blog is pretty hilarious!

Michael Stone is a Milan-based film/ video maker. This particular YouTube offering is called "Under My Arm Forever--Rihanna Umbrella Parody" and it's hilarious! While you're there, watch his other videos, like "Pepperoni Face," his hysterical parody of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face."

Pitstache
This is a project I'm backing. It's going to be film exploring armpit hair, why women are supposed to shave it and men aren't, where this idea of shaving armpit hair came from, etc. I really hope someone out there reading this backs it, too, so it can happen!
